GREECE ATTICA ATHENS OLYMPIEION

The "Olympieion", the Temple of Olympian Zeus has survived to these days, although incomplete. Its construction was begun under the reign of Peisistratos around 530 BC, continued in the 2nd century BC, and was finally completed under the Roman emperor Hadrian in AD 124/125. It was originally surrounded by 104 Corinthian columns.
